BETH HATTENFELS finalised her presidency of the Rotary Club of Wellington last Saturday evening with several presentations during the club’s annual board Changeover dinner.

Among awards at Wellington Golf Club Beth presented Bill Redfern for 41-years’ service to Rotary, Michael White for 40-years’ service to Rotary and to Jennifer Wykes for four continuous years as Secretary of the Club.

Another highlight of the evening was a well-deserved Paul Harris Fellow awarded to a very hard-working Ray Pulbrook.

Paul Harris was the founder of Rotary International and this award named after him is considered very prestigious.

As well, Beth Hattenfels inducted the newest member into the Club - Prof. Nadira Tidwell, who has been in

Rotary for more than 30 years, serving on various Boards and setting up Clubs, both here in Australia and overseas.

Nadira will bring a wealth of knowledge to the Wellington Club.

As her final act as incumbent president, Beth then inducted Shaun Leggett as this coming year’s 2026-27 President.

Shaun then introduced his Board consisting of Immediate Past President: Beth Hattenfels; Secretary: Beth

Hattenfels; Treasurer: Ray Pulbrook; Service Projects Chair: Greg Wykes; Public Relations chair: Ian Parkes; Youth Service Chair: Alicia Rodriguez-Leggett who will also chair the Club Youth Protection committee.
